Hello Durham Archers,
It is truly unfortunate that your club is continuing to have problems securing a suitable property. In the meantime we would like to offer your members an opportunity to continue archery this season until your club is up and running again.
YCB club membership begins with a 3 month Probationary period and an Initiation fee of $100 plus HST ($50 plus HST for seniors). While on Probation, members have full use of the club facilities, however, they are not granted a door access Fob and the combination to the driveway gate lock. They are therefore dependent on full club members to be present to provide access to the parking lot and the club house.
We are prepared to extend the normal Probationary period beyond 3 months until Oct 31, 2019, for the regular Initiation fee and to provide your club members the combination to the driveway gate lock. There is no obligation on your members to become full members or to provide volunteer hours.
Should your members be interested in this offer , they can print, complete, scan and return the Application form by email along with an E-Transfer of $113 to email@example.com. Alternatively they can drop off the Application with a cheque in the lock box inside our club house or mail the Application. On receipt our Membership Director will mail a Probationary ID tag.
Memebership at Durham Archers entitles you to enjoy our wonderfull club and facilites anytime. We have a full practice range along with our 3 20 target 3D courses which is setup all year. Throughout the year, we host a couple of 3D tournaments which appeal to all levels of shooters and are always fun and exciting to participate in. To become a member at Durham Archers, please print out the Membership Application Form, complete the form and mail it along with a cheque to the clubs treasurer.
Please note that as of June 15/2018 payment for club dues can only be accepted by etransfer.

In addition to the membership fee, club members are required to complete 8 hours of work assessment at the club or services for the club if agreed upon by the executive committee or pay $80.00 to the club. The reason behind the work hours is to keep the membership costs down while maintaining and improving the club for everyones enjoyment. It is also the members responsibility to fill out their completed work hours in the work log book. If work hours are not logged, members will be charged for hours owed upon membership renewal. If a member has purchased a family membership, only 1 member needs to complete the hours although for the betterment of the club, any extra help is always welcome. Work hours can be filled through various club work parties held throughout the year which will be posted on the clubs website or whenever a member has time is available to contribute. Work at the club can consist of grass cutting and trimming, garbage cleanup, repairs to club facilities or courses. We are also always looking for quality lumber, hardware or building materials as well for constant club improvements or maintenance. If you have any questions or concerns about the work hours or being able to provide a service to the club or construction materials for the club, please contact one of the clubs executive.
